Hypermachinity and Hyperhumanity

Hypermachinity: Taking humanity out of the equation and create better systems and machines.
Hyperhumanity: Taking technology deeper into human to enhance human capabilities.
Hypermachinity: We have been evolving the machines ever since they have been invented. We have already seen human level competence in some areas with Generative AI. As AI evolves into Artificial General Intelligence, machines are going to be reaching towards hypermachinity. Major technology leaders are already invested heavily into Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). OpenAI, Google DeepMind and Anthropic are leading the research.

We will see machines and systems which are self-architected, self-correcting and autonomous. AGI and autonomous vehicles will lead this area for next couple of years.

Hyperhumanity: This is an area in its embryonic form. Brain-computer interface (BCI) technology is leading this area. Given the ethical concerns we might initially see this to improve human conditioning from disorders rather than fully improving mental, physical and neurological human capabilities.
While BCI and other hyperhumanity enabling technologies evolve; in short to medium term we will see human augmenting technologies creating a metaphorical second brain.

Exciting times ahead.
