EA/Architecture functions have already started shaping their deliverables with insights and focusing the value delivery to stakeholders. However to deal with the pace of AI/GenAI, architecture teams need to upskill and develop their architecture frameworks for AI.
While there are competing priorities for architecture teams from formulating and informing the digital strategy to supporting environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives, but, governance, design, development and implementation of AI solutions needs to be one of key objectives for the team this year.
However, any AI effort needs to start with identifying business opportunities with AI, its legal and ethical impact, maturity of data and processes and skills of the team.
